Haroldo Jacobovicz is a true trailblazer in the world of

potential of the Information Technology sector led him to establish success ful
software and hardware service companies. Born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil,
Haroldo’s curiosity about global affairs and his insatiable appetite for
knowledge propelled him to stay informed through extensive reading of
newspapers and magazines, which served as inspiration for his groundbreaking
ideas.

After completing his engineering degree at the Federal
University of ParanĂ¡, Haroldo embarked on his professional career. Although he
initially planned to work in civil construction, he was drawn to the untapped
potential of IT. In 1990, he founded Microsystem, a company aimed at automating
inventory and cash control for small businesses . While the venture eventually
closed due to the market not being ready for computerization, it did not deter
Haroldo from pursuing his passion.

Recognizing the need for computerization in large companies,
Haroldo seized an opportunity to join Exxon Mobil Corporation as a market
analyst
. His work involved processing data using computers, and he quickly rose
through the ranks due to his talent and dedication. However, the price freezes
on fuel during the Cruzado Plan in Brazil added pressure to his role, prompting
him to reassess his career path.

Haroldo’s next move took him to Itaipu, the world’s largest
hydroelectric power plant
, where he served as an advisor to the Technical
Director. This experience exposed him to the challenges of computer adoption in
the public sector. Armed with his corporate and public sector experience,
Haroldo founded Minauro, a company specializing in computer leasing and
maintenance for government agencies. His innovative four-year contracts, which
included regular hardware upgrades and maintenance, proved successful, winning
numerous bids in the South and Southeast of Brazil.

Continuing his entrepreneurial journey, Haroldo expanded his
business to include software solutions for various sectors such as taxation,
finance, administration, healthcare, and education through strategic
acquisitions. This marked the birth of the e-Governe Group, recognized as a
national leader in providing IT solutions  to public organizations.

In 2010, Haroldo Jacobovicz founded Horizons Telecom, a telecom
operator that quickly became a trusted name in the corporate sector. With a
focus on delivering top-notch technical resources, the company’s success led to
its recen t acquisition by a major investment group, fueling an ambitious
expansion plan.

Driven by his passion for digital innovation , Haroldo’s
latest venture is Arlequim Technologies. This startup aims to bring improved
digital experiences to more people at an affordable cost. Arlequim offers a
service that enhances the performance of outdated computers, effectively
matching the capabilities of the latest devices without the need for purchasing
new equipment.

Haroldo Jacobovicz’s goal is to make a positive impact on
the world by improving business efficiency and enhancing the daily lives of
individuals. With his visionary approach and relentless pursuit of innovation,
he continues to shape the tech industry, leaving a lasting legacy for
