Ross Levinsohn Ross Levinsohn is Sports Illustrated CEO and has held that title since the year 2019. Being Sports Illustrated CEO means that he had replaced James Heckman who is the Maven Founder of the company. He was previously CEO of Yahoo and has years of experience in major leadership roles. Levinsohn along with Heckman will both come up with great strategic and business planning on how to continue to bring success to Sports Illustrated. The company reported it brings up to 150 millions customers each month and their currently planning ways on how to bring that number up even higher. For over thirty years Levinsohn has been involved in the technology, media and finance world which makes him one of the only people who are capable of bringing this plan to reality. At the start of his professional career he snagged a job at CBS Sportsline and quickly rose to the top of the leader board and was able to put his name on the map. He and his new team are looking for bigger brands to help boost the company’s name and bring in more monthly subscribers to their business. Along with being CEO he maintains his name as an incredibly intelligent investor. He also helps advise those who are interesting in beginning to invest but do not know where to start, he wants to help anyone and everyone become successful as he was able to do so for himself. After high school, he attended American University where he later earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
