Citizen App takes the lead on creating the “Internet of Citizen Safety”, which will include support for existing and new web-based apps.
Through this “Internet of Citizen Safety”, citizens can contribute intelligence, receive alerts and raise alarms, and collaborate in real-time with their neighbors and law enforcement.
In our latest blog post, we talked about how to contact safety agents using the Citizen App. We covered how to create an incident report and what information you should include. In this recap, we will go over the steps again and provide more detail on each one.
Creating an incident report is easy and only takes a few minutes. First, you will need to open the Citizen App and sign in. Once you are signed in, you will see a map of your current location. You can use the search bar to find your exact location or zoom in on the map to get a better view.
Next, you will need to select the type of incident you are reporting. There are three options: crime, fire, or medical. Once you have selected the type of incident, you will need to provide a description of what happened. Be as specific as possible and include any relevant details in the Citizen App.
After you have provided a description, you will need to select a location for the incident. You can either use the search bar to find your exact location or you can zoom in on the map and select the location manually.
Once you have selected a location, you will need to provide your contact information. This includes your name, phone number, and email address. You can also choose to remain anonymous.
Once you have provided your contact information, you will need to select a date and time for the incident. You can either choose the current date and time or you can select a different date and time.
After you have selected a date and time, you will need to provide any additional details about the incident. This includes any relevant information that you did not include in the description. Thank you for taking the time to read our blog post on Citizen App. We hope that you found it helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
