A recent study by Amy’s Kitchen, which specializes in organic and vegetarian meals, revealed that 52 percent of respondents were interested in learning more about veganism. This term refers to the fact that the individuals it is directed at are fascinated by vegan food and the vegan way of eating. They wanted to discover more about why so many Americans had taken up vegetarianism, so they had over 2,000 individuals nationwide fill out questionnaires on their eating habits and preferences. This allowed them to learn why so many Americans had taken up vegetarianism.
According to Amy’s Kitchen, more than half of respondents (56%) look for plant-based meal shortcuts, indicating a need for quick and straightforward plant-based dishes. According to the company, more than half of the people who responded to the survey sought simple methods to include more plant-based meals in their diets. This figure represents 56% of the total respondents.
The top three reasons for buying or eating meals based on plants rather than meat or fish are concerns about one’s health, a desire to have less impact on the environment, and a preference for the flavor of plant-based foods.
When comments from parents and their children are included, the percentage of adult Americans interested in learning more about veganism rises to 66%. Parents are looking for methods to make plant-based meals more convenient since they report that it is difficult to locate fast food they are willing to provide their children. Nearly 70% of parents say it is difficult to find fast food that they are eager to offer their children. Most of these parents are looking for faster ways to prepare nutritious meals based on plants for their families.
Customers who follow certain diets may need help navigating the grocery store, particularly the department dedicated to prepared foods. According to the poll results, 45 percent of parents have at least one member of their family who is constrained in some way due to dietary restrictions. Seventy-two percent of these parents report that it is a lot of effort to obtain ready-made meals that meet their children’s requirements.
