Launch House is a startup community in the new Silicon Valley, and its members are committed to helping and encouraging aspiring company owners. House Capital, an early-stage fund worth millions, was recently revealed. Jacob Peters, Brett Goldstein, and Michael Houck are the managing partners of House Capital. These three individuals conceptualized Opening House and gave it its name. Each group member invests in early-stage businesses inside the Launch House community. Still, they are willing to invest in high-growth companies outside the Launch House community if the moment and conditions are right.

In 2020, Michael Houck, Brett Goldstein, and Jacob Peters founded an elite membership organization called Launching House. The organization’s goal is to help the next generation of influential leaders thrive professionally and personally without sacrificing their health or happiness. Each firm or organization may only have one member in Launch House. Online cohort-based courses, co-working spaces, community events, and conferences provide global opportunities for entrepreneurs, developers, and investors to network and interact.
Opening House built a virtual house in the online community Gather, a met-averse system with a flat, two-dimensional interface accessible via a web browser. This was done so that members from all over the world may participate in the organization’s activities. The building was designed to seem like a college campus, replete with lecture halls, hallways, and other open places meant to inspire members to have unannounced gatherings. Because of this, members may have meaningful discussions on a wide range of issues and access to a wealth of exclusive virtual programming options.
Opening House is now one of the more than 10,000 businesses utilizing Gather to foster collaboration. Despite this, Joachim Isiah, a former platform community and growth manager for Gather, thinks Launch House is helping to advance the co-working concept. He assesses what they do: “What they’re doing is bringing founders into the space; they have events around learning from one another… [and they’re] establishing various types of events centered on learning concerns.”
